My very long walk

part 3

The journey home.

Now we are back on the south side of Stanborough lakes.

I have another roll around in the sand. But this time I am wet and it sticks to my fur. So I have to shake it all off.

We get back to the railway bridge. Its very dark in there!

I decide to wait for Mummy to make sure she isn't scared.

We walk along the side of the railway track. I can hear the trains.

As we walk around the fields we come across some very pretty flowers.

Then we walk through some woods before we make it home.

Once we are home I hide under the bed so no one can bath or brush me. I like my paws yellow I think it suits me.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about my very long walk.

What a lovely walk, Simba. I think it was a very good idea to hide under the bed on your return. Did you manage to avoid the dreaded bath? J x

Hi, Simba...

That was really a long walk...You live in such a pretty place...

It was nice of you to help your Mom thru the dark tunnel...I bet she was scared...

I like the hiding under the bed trick...I'll have to try that one...

haha! i knew the outcome of all those water dipping, sand rolling, flowers picking... hehehe. but then again, if u refuse to be bathed, you might not be sleeping on the bed. is that mean u get bath everyday if u go for the same long walkie??

u know, that's the reason why mom refuse to take me for her hike. i'll get all dirty and need a shower after every walk.

Hi my love,

I just want you to know that I love your pictures so much. Watching you on your walk makes me smile and the Mommy did too when she saw your big smiling face. There are two pictures I'd like to use tonight on a post of it's ok.
I wish I could have gone walking with you and your Mum. I am so lonesome when the Mommy has to go to the hospital with out me.

Thanks for the kind words.

Mona & the Mommy too!!

Your walk looks so fun. I really like the picture of you in front of the flowers. That sand looks like a lot of fun to roll in, but the water looks like even more fun!

That is a wonderful walk. I love walks when you can stop and cool your belly in water. Those are the best.

Hi Simba, the walk looks great, I'm gonna come find you soon! Check my blog to see what the woodland pirates have done to my jump, they've sabotaged the lower hole, the one you were gonna jump through as I jumped the top. That's our synchronised event out of the window!
