Koobie is having an Easter bonnet competition. I thought an Easter bonnet was a bit too girly for me. So I got these instead.

What do you think?

Some of my DWB friends have been posting about things they have made. We have been impressed with how talented you all are. Sadly we couldn't think of anything to post about what we'd made. Until yesterday...... I made two things.

It all started with a normal walk in the field across the road from our house. Some houses are been built nearby and there are often diggers and work men around. I was running in front of Mummy as usual, as she came around on corner she noticed lots of work men and a digger and a horrid smell. ewww, she thought, smells like the digger has gone through the sewage pipe. She could see me running in front of her so thought no more about it until we reached the end of our walk and she went to put my lead on.

She said, oh God Simba, oh my God, noooooo. In the split second I was out of her sight I found a lovely smelly, not so much muddy as dodo bath, and I rolled and rolled. She said I looked and smelled like I'd sat underneath a cow.

She managed to put my lead on without touching the dodo and we went home. Where she led me straight upstairs to the bathroom. Standing there she realised she had to somehow get me in the bath, "jump Simba, go on, jump into the bath," like that was ever going to happen. She threw me, yes threw, into the bath and then met her next problem.

She had to take off my harness and coat. This is when I made the second thing. I made Mummy throw up. She took off my harness and threw it in the sink pulled my coat over my head and threw that in the sink. All the time she was saying making really strange noises and saying, I'm going to be sick, I'm going to be sick. She doesn't lie.

Sadly there are not photos of me covered in dodo, but here is my inside out coat and harness.

She threw my coat away and washed my harness on a very hot wash, while mumbling something about, me going in the washing machine, a bit uncalled for I thought.

So I am feeling very proud of my two things. A disgusting mess and Mummy throwing up. But there is always a down side. 3 baths she made me have, 3 baths! I now smell of flowers and the bath smells like a swimming pool. It took me 3 seconds to make a mess it took her two hours to sort out. I'm a very clever Simba.

We went for a walk in the great woods on Sunday. When we arrived there I sat and meditated for a moment.

and then I ran....

...and ran.

I had to keep stopping to wait for the humans (so slow!)

I showed Mummy and fat fat Daddy a bridge to walk across, they are old and fat.

If they were fit and nimble like me, they could walk across this log instead.

I am king of the woods.
