We had thunder and lightening here yesterday. OMG it was so scary, Jazzi was too young to understand the danger and just carried on as usual. I knew the best thing to do during a storm in hide in the bathroom.
The humans told me to come out of the bathroom and stop been silly. So I found a safe corner in the kitchen. Is it possible for a dog to look pale?

I know how scary that loud boom can be. I snuggle really close to my Mommy when that happens.

Jazzi is just too young to know how scared she should be...
When it storms here, I usually get as close to my Mom as I can so she won't be scared, too...

Oh poor Simba, you know Martha is the same - she thinks the sky is going to fall but I just bark and growl right back at the sky. My tail wags away and I reckon it is fun. You should try it!

Thunder is very scary! But you'll be safe curled up in a tiny ball! Thats what I do!

Poor Simba. You look a little green. Shall I wag over?I bark right back at that thunder so you would only hear me, not scary at all then. Didn't you just know that we were going to haverto pay for all that nice hot sun? Take care in the pond.And look in plant pots in case those kittie plants catch on here.

I hope the storm didn't last long! Storms don't bother me much, but my Owner Girl gets a little afraid sometimes when it's very windy and the lights go out! One time she even made me hide in the closet with her cuz she thought the window was going to blow in! Silly girl!

I know how you feel. I hate them too. And we had a lot of storms lately. You do look a little pale. I try to curl up somewhere too.

We hope you're recovering from your stormy episode.
We know many other dogs in our neck of the woods who are scared of storms.
Our resident Malinois is terrified of fireworks and fire crackers. Boy u can really see her go frantic!

I'm with you Simba! I do NOT like boomies of any kind (fireworks, thunder etc) and hide under the coffee table or comforter (if the beans are in bed).
On July 4th daddy took me to the basement mancave where it was quiet. Jazzi is just to young to be scared. She'll learn as she grows.
You do look a little bit scared! I hope you got through it ok.

The bathroom is the safest place for sure! Tanner doesn't understand the terrible danger of storms either.
I totally understand, Simba! I hate storms as much as you do! Why were the darn things ever invented?!
