I have decided that ducks are very unfriendly. You try saying hello to them and the swim away.





Or they pretend they can't hear you.




Or when you do get near enough to say hello they do this...




Yes, ducks are not friendly. We are off in the campervan, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Those birds think they're so great! I used to try to make friends with them too, but you know what. They're just grouchy snobs.

Oooh, cool! We've never met any ducks or geese, but big flocks of them fly over our house all the time. Well... in the Fall and Winter.

Hey Simba,

Be careful, especiallys durin' the springtime! When my dad worked at the zoo, the animal keepers were always tellin' humans not to let their human puppies chase the Canada geese puppies. If they got too close, the adult geese might come in and swat the human puppies. It was possibles that a small arm could be broken. So bewares!

ack! bad ducks bad ducks!! but they are so big, be careful of them jaws! auntie has been bitten by a goose when she was young, and she says it would scar you for the rest of your life!

are you drinking the pond water in the 2nd picture? eeew! those ducks have their feet in there!

thanks for asking about fanny. we're all still learning to cope with the loss of such a sweet girl, but her mom is feeling much better already. we'll continue praying for the both of them :)
