Mummy and fat fat Daddy took me for a walk to the lakes.

I had great fun running around.

Then I went duck hunting. No ducks here.

Maybe they are under the leaves.

I found a seagull, but where have all the ducks gone?

Saturday is a very special day for Boo's Mummy and Daddy. They are getting married. But as I know this is the last day blogging for Boo until after the wedding I am doing this today.

Congratulation to you both, wishing you lots of love and happiness.

We hope you have the time of your lives.( Mummy had to get a dirty dance quote in there somewhere)
Love, Simba, Simba's Mummy and Fat fat Daddy xxxx

A couple of people who came to the house warming, who shall remain nameless. They know who they are. Didn't treat me with the respect I deserve, Mummy found this very upsetting and won't be asking them round again unless they read, learn and memorise this...

My Dog Lives In This House

My dog lives in this house. You are welcome to come and visit me anytime but we have a few things that you must understand before you visit. You must expect a few dog hairs to stick to your clothes. I vacuum and clean, but my dog lives here too.

You may be leaned on and find him in your lap a few times but he does this because he loves people and wants to say Hello. So if you feel that you are too good for his love then you are not welcomed here because this is his home too.

My dog is well mannered and very clean but if you are one of those people who think all animals are dirty and smell, then go away. You are not the type of person that I care to associate with. If you don't like the sound of barking, then my home is not going to be a comfortable place for you to visit.

Do not expect me to lock my dog in another room during your visit. I have trained my dog well so
he will not do anything to you except maybe want a pat on the head. I will not subject him to
You see, this is OUR home. We have been together since he was a small puppy scampering around the house. I raised him into a well mannered, beautifully behaved dog.

I am proud of him. I consider him my personal gift from GOD. He has done nothing but give me his endless love and devotion for many years. I love him dearly and want to make his years happy ones. As happy as he made mine.

When I was sick, he stayed right by my side, as I did his when he is not having a good day. A better friend I could not ask for.

When no one else cared, my dog did. He has given me nothing but pure joy and I love him endlessly. So please understand that I am not being rude. I'm just looking out for my best friend.

Saturday night Mummy and Fat fat Daddy had a house warming party. There was lots of food.

And drink.

I hung around Emily, because what she didn't give away she dropped by accident.

But nobody seemed to be dropping anything when it came to the chocolate fountain.

I'm ready for Butchy's camping party. This should be fun.

Here is something to think about for the weekend. Here is a photo Mummy took from the boat. We were on the River Thames traveling towards Oxford. You can see the geese on the river bank. The question is.....what are the animals in the back ground? You can click on the photo to make it bigger.

Have a great weekend.

Why is it when we go for a walk in the great woods I seem to spend all my time waiting for Mummy to catch up with me?
Waiting...

waiting.....

waiting...

still waiting...

Sometimes I have to run back to make sure she doesn't get lost. Any tips on getting her to move a bit faster?

ps. I am in all the photos, can you spot me?

Mummy got me one of these.

Joe Stains has one and he loves it. So when Mummy saw it in a shop she thought she'd buy me one to see if I liked it too.

I rolled it a bit.

Then I sniffed it a bit.

Then I took it to a quiet corner away from the camera to chew it.

I love it and Mummy is happy because I can't destroy it. Thank you Joe for giving Mummy good ideas about toys for me.

Blue has tagged me to.... Your mission is if you choose to accept it, is come up with the Halloween out fit whether real or virtual...
To start the ball rolling, I'm going to tag...now lets see, Simba,

I'm going to cheat and use a photo Mummy took of me last year. Look at me all cute and fluffy. I really am the devil in disguise.

Asta challanged all DWB's to find a welcome song for Harry. Having run out of ideas I cheated (again) . Please insert Harry for the name Ben.

Oh I forgot to tag other people, I'm a silly old Simba. I tag, Boo and Girl girl.

Mummy and Fat fat Daddy have discovered that the captains chair in the boat is too high for me to jump down from. So now when they stop for food they leave me on this chair. I believe this is cruel and inhumane and I am going to report them to the RSPCA and CSI.

While they take their own sweet time to investigate I have to work out another way to get the food. If I try hard enough maybe I can squeeze through this little hole.

I managed to get one paw through.

Then the other paw.

Sadly the rest of my body wouldn't fit. So I resorted to puppy dog eyes.

Mummy took me for a walk in the Great Woods. I like to play hide and seek in the woods. Well really its just hide from Mummy and that stupid camera, but she seeks me out.

I got so fed up having my photo taken I took Chiyo's advise and tried the evil eyes. That did the trick. (click on the picture to see my evil eyes)

If a dog was the teacher you would learn stuff like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.

Let others know when they've invaded your territory!

Take naps.span style="color:#cc66cc;">Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back in the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout , run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

I was happily playing in the park with other doggies yesterday. A rottweiler called Saffie and two staffordshire bull terrier's, Bailey and Millie. When Mummy decided to really embrass me by taking my photo.

I don't believe it, she's got the camera out.

If we all stand with you backs to her maybe she'll put the camera away. Whatever you do don't look into the flash.

That's not working. Ok we'll all move away slowly, don't make any sudden movements.

We didn't stop until we were out of shot. Then we went back to playing bitey face.

We took two human puppies on the boat this weekend. Meet Katherine and Emily, they are my Mummy's nieces.

I was minding my own business eating my chewy treat when, its coming this way.

She's near me, I'm going to keep chewing my treat and pretend its not happening.

She'd getting nearer, keep chewing the treat and she'll go away.

Then Emily took me for a walk along the river bank.

Look at me I'm a good boy for the human puppy.

Mummy said it reminded her of Bagpuss .

Even Simba himself once he was asleep was just an old, saggy cloth dog
Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams
But Emily loved him.

Excuse me!!!
