This weekend has been very wet and dull. This was last Sunday on the boat.

I like nothing better then lying in the sunshine. On the boat, excuse me you are blocking my rays!

Or while we are waiting to go through the lock. Ahem, fat woman makes big shadow!

ah this is the life, a Fat fat Daddy to cuddle and the sun on my fur.

My very long walk

part 3

The journey home.

Now we are back on the south side of Stanborough lakes.

I have another roll around in the sand. But this time I am wet and it sticks to my fur. So I have to shake it all off.

We get back to the railway bridge. Its very dark in there!

I decide to wait for Mummy to make sure she isn't scared.

We walk along the side of the railway track. I can hear the trains.

As we walk around the fields we come across some very pretty flowers.

Then we walk through some woods before we make it home.

Once we are home I hide under the bed so no one can bath or brush me. I like my paws yellow I think it suits me.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about my very long walk.

My very long walk

Part two

At Stanborough lakes.

We walk around the south side of Stanborough. For some reason there are little piles of sand, I think they are for having sand baths in.

Then we have to cross over the road to the north side.

We walk up the hill...

...and through some trees.

Lots of rabbits live on the other side of the hill. Strange how they all run away when they see me.

We go across a little bridge.

By this time I am very hot and thirsty. So I cool off in the water and have
drink.

Sometimes the water gets in your ears and you have to have a good shake to get it out.

Then we walk around the duck pond. I'm not allowed in this water because Mummy says it is dirty and smelly.

If I'm not allowed in the duck pond, then they are not allowed on my path.

We then go back to the south side. This time we go under a bridge. There are lots of fish in the water by the bridge.

I like to try and catch the fish with my paws. I haven't managed it yet.

I have another little dip to cool off before we start heading back.

Tune in tomorrow for the journey home.

My very long walk

Part one.

Going to Stanborough lakes.

Mummy has started taking me on a very long walk. She has decided we need to be fitter and healthier. So we now walk to Stanborough lakes.

First we walk down this narrow path, being careful of the stinging nettles.

Then through the field that is full of rabbit holes.

Then go through the farmers field. We are allowed its a public right of way.

We then walk toward the railway bridge.

We go under the bridge. Sometimes its a bit scary because you can hear the trains.

Finally we make it to Stanborough lakes.

If you want to know what I get up too there you can find out tomorrow.

I work hard when we are on the boat.

I have to keep an eye on the flag. You never know when a low flying duck might make off with it.

I have to make sure pirate dogs don't swim across and take over the boat.

I have to keep an eye on where we are going when Fat fat Daddy is distracted.

I keep the flies down by catching them with my tongue.

When we stop, I have to keep stand guard to make sure no ducks or swans land on the boat and steal our lunch.

I have to keep a very close eye on who comes down the stairs, from my secret hiding place.

But mainly I work on looking cute.

The mountain with snow on it is Ben Nevis

Mummy was in Scotland.

While she was there she and her friends fed horses.

They saw doggies, these doggies were in the back of a van. They were waiting to go to work rounding up sheep.

They got dressed up in funny clothes.

To go white water rafting in these boats.

They did grown up things, like playing on the swings.

They did lots and lots of walking.

They said hello to some pigs.....

....and some cows.

Looks really boring to me.
