At the weekend we went on the boat to a place called Ashmount. There we met up with some other people on boats for a BBQ. There were lots of other dogs too.

And food!

We discovered the humans gave in easier if we begged in pairs.

Or even threes.

Its a very pretty place.

It was great fun being allowed to wonder around with all the other dogs. I hope we do it again.

The weather has been lovely and sunny here. Last Thursday evening Mummy and her sister took me for a walk in the bluebell woods.

We stopped to admire the view.

We had a picnic, which was a good thing because I needed a drink of water.

We found some tadpoles.

I decided to swim with them. Well people swim with dolphins don't they !?

Then we said goodbye to the bluebells...

...and headed home before it got dark.

I was worn out after all the presents, cake and beer. So I cuddled up with Mini Boo for a nap.

I wished whispered sweet nothings to him. "When we wake up I'm going to rip your ears off".

I hope to catch up with everyones blogs very soon.

There is a whole brand new person in our family now.

Meet Mikey.

Mikey is my human brother, Michael's son.

He was born on Saturday 3rd May, weighing 6 lb 8 oz. I can't see any treats in his tiny little hands. I'm going to have to work on that.

Mummy and Fat fat Daddy got me presents for my Birthday.

They got me a ball that rolls around and treats fall out, now thats my kind of ball.

A brand new wubba, the last one fall apart, all by itself. (cough, cough)

Treats that you can't eat unless a human takes them out of the packet. Can't blame a dog for trying.

A little yellow duck to take in the bath. Like thats going to make me want to have a bath, pleeessse.

Apples on a rope, I think I'm supposed to climb up them??

The best present of all, a new mini Boo.

Come here mini Boo, let me show you how much I love you.

Here I am with all my present, I love birthdays.

News flash......

Simba caught sunbathing naked in garden.

Simba released the following statement;

After all the rain we have had lately I threw caution and my clothes to the wind. I should have known there would be someone in the bushes with a camera. It the price you pay for been king.

How to remove the brain from a Mini Boo. In two easy to follow steps.

Step one.

Step two.

Carefully pull the brain through the hole. This may take some time and its best to keep the humans busy letting them watch TV, so you are not disturbed.

Here we have the removed brain.

As you can see Mini Boo #2 was completely unharmed by this operation.

It was pulling out the rest of his stuffing that sent him to the great bin in the kitchen.

Goodbye Mini Boo #3.

It was so boring when it rains. You can't go for a walk and there is nothing to see outside. Time for a nap I think.

On our walk the other day we came across lots of Bluebells.

Yes very pretty. But so much more attractive with a Simba in front of them.

Shall I go for, cool and handsome?

Or cute and adorable?
